Allowed by child to decide for herself in terms of needs.
All staff were caring, attentive and cooperate and to add they all been kind and considerate.
The nurses were exceptional in the care and attention they provided.
They were attentive at all times and nothing was too much trouble, overall we were very happy with the care received and would recommend Amber ward B to friends and family.
Staff recognised my child and remembered/had information passed on regarding previous treatment/care.
Staff were very polite and kept us informed.
Well, for the time the young person was admitted the help and the care he received have been great. Television set to be part of the provision given to the patient as part of the entertainment.
All the staff have been fantastic.
They talked to my son in a friendly and playful manner and communicated to me (mum) very well and clearly.
The playroom is excellent (indoors and outside) and helped my son settle on the ward, I as well as the small toy/back area in each bay.
The ward is clean and the chair bed was great, as I had to stay overnight with my son. Breakfast could be served a little earlier (say 7:30 am).
My only criticism is the delay in taking him to theater. I appreciate sometimes things can be delayed; but re presented to King Georges A and E the night before and were told to come to Queens 9 am the next morning, however were sent home, told to return at 3 pm and went to theater at 7:30 pm.
24 hours after my sons laceration.
Our of hours services should be reviewed and communication between the hospitalities.
Overall the treatment our son received was excellent and cannot praise the Queen's Hospital enough. Thank you.
